The clock is tickling fast, just a few days to the momentous crowning and presentation of staff of office to HRM King Kingsley Emakpor Orereh lgbi ll as he ascends the exalted throne of his forbearers as Ovie of Agbarha Warri Kingdom.

I challenge entire Urhoboland to take this as a critical Urhobo project. Though feelers from the kingdom does not suggest satisfactory consultations and invitation to expected Urhobo dignitaries to grace the occasion aside the traditional rulers council, I implore all notable Urhobo officeholders, politicians, the clergy, accomplished investors to attend the event.

This is a moment to remind all that though political delineation of Delta State places Warri outside Delta Central, the pride of place of Agbarha-Warri Kingdom and Okere-Urhobo Warri Kingdom occupy as key Urhobo enclaves in Warri Township compliment the pride of Urhobo as the majority ethnic nationality in Delta state.

Igbi ll (Ovie of Agbarha Warri Kingdom) is not just a well travelled king, but he is also a business tycoon who is bringing class and royal to this Urhobo exalted traditional stool. From what I gathered, this momentous event will be broadcast live on National TV Networks and would be graced by first class traditional rulers and industry chiefs from across the country. This is why every Urhobo should be patriotic in attendance.

Consequently, not minding the shortness of time and notice, I am calling out the who is who in Urhoboand aside all Urhobo Kings who have been well mobolised, to come out Friday and share the joy of the historic occasion with the Agbarha-Warri Kingdom.

I understand the presentation of Staff of Office is done by the Deputy Governor on behalf of the governor. However, I recall instances where Governors James Ibori, Emmanuel Uduaghan and Ifeanyi Okowa personally presented staff of office to selected kings.

I therefore, first and foremost, implore Governor Sheriff Oborevwori to make it priority to grace the occasion, in capacity as an Urhobo son and to personally present this Staff of Office to the Ovie of Agbarha Warri Kingdom, come Friday.

I implore all Urhobo political leaders, lawmakers at federal and state, to ensure they attend the occasion. By that I mean Senator Ede Dafinone, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, Chief James Ibori, Chief Ighoyota Amori, Rt. Hon. Francis Waive, Hon. Ben Etanabene, all Urhobo Rep members, all political leaders to be present in solidarity with Agbarha-Warri Kingdom.

I call on the Aviation Minister, Festus Keyamo, notable Urhobo investors, including Olorogun Moses Taiga, O’tega Emerhor, Olorogun Oscar Ibru and the entire Ibru family, the UPU leadership, Urhobo Academia and the Clergy, including Saint Daniel Dikeji Miyerijesu, Archbishop God-Do-Well Avwomakpa, Bishop Anthony Ewherido (the Kingdom where the Catholic Cathedral currently sits), Archbishop Solomon Gbakara and Bishop Morris-Billion Djanere and all to show Up and be counted to share the joy of a brand new king for Agbarha-Warri Kkngdom.

It will be seen as a demonstration of non commitment to the progress of Urhoboland for these target persons not to appear Friday at the Shell RA, Ogunu where the event will take place.
