Udu PG, Uviejitobor Hails Ovie Of Udu Kingdom, Congratulates Newly Conferred Chiefs


The President-General of Udu Kingdom, Hon. (Chief) Peter Okagbare Uviejitobor, has commended HRM, Barr. Bethel Delekpe (JP), Owhoru 1, Ovie of Udu Kingdom for his love for Udu children as he congratulated individuals who were conferred with chieftaincy titles by the Royal Majesty on Thursday, 23 January, 2025, at his Palace, Aladja Community in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State.

Responding to the development in Asaba immediately after the conferment, the President-General expressed gratitude to God Almighty for the show of love and fatherly leadership exhibited by the Reverend Monarch of Udu Kingdom.

The Kingdom President-General said that the recent happenings in Udu since the inauguration of UUC caretaker committee, conferment of chieftaincy titles on high chiefs to mark His Majesty birthday and another conferment of chieftaincy titles on well deserved individuals in Udu by the Ovie in Council shows that Udu unity has come to stay and urged individual and corporate organisations to take the advantage of the unity to contribute their quota to the overall development of Udu Kingdom.

Those conferred with chieftaincy titles include; Mrs. Edah Jirehvwe Roseline, Mrs. Edah Divine Blessing Ngozi, Mr. Jones Erhieyowen Ovleke, Mrs. Florence Ogugua Ovueke, Madam Rita Oghenejirowho Orugbo, Mr. Omoko Rume Emmanuel, Captain Matthew Oshenyen JP, Lady Tina Oshenyen JP.

Others are; Barr. Solomon Rugbare Aggreh, Mrs. Val Onowighose, Mr. Ochuko Onakemu, Mr. Goddey Damijo, Mrs. Elohor Onakemu, Mr. Christopher Aya, Mrs. Helen Aya, Mr. Matthew Ogheneovo, Mrs. Akpevwe Vivian Ikie Ogheneovo, Hon. Lawson Agberia Oghoifo Amongst others.
Hon. Uviejitobor urged the newly conferred chiefs to use the titles given to them by the Ovie of Udu Kingdom to maintain peace and unity in the Kingdom.
