Siloko Hails Akpodiete For Enrolling Over 400 Indigents Of Ughelli/Udu Federal Constituency
The Chairman of the people’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Udu local government area, Delta State. Rt. Hon. (Evang.) David Siloko, has sincerely commended the former house of representative aspirant under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party in the 2023 general elections, Hon. Olotu Otemu Akpodiete Ph.D (JP) for enrolling over 400 indigents of Ughelli/Udu federal constituency.
Evangelist Siloko made the commendation on 7th April, 2025 at the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Secretariat at Otor-Udu. He stressed that Dr Akpodiete is a very passionate young man that have the interest and wellbeing of the people at heart.
The PDP Chairman further stated that, there are some wealthy people who marked their father’s remembrance by throwing heavy Party with drinks and food for people to eat and go. But this young man case is not like that, he rather channel the resource on the health of his people, adding that others should emulate Dr Akpodiete’s good gesture.
Earlier in his opening remarks, the Executive Director of Olotu & Rowland Ekuogbe Akpodiete Foundation, Dr Otemu Olotu Akpodiete Ph.D thanked the people of Ughelli North, South and Udu local government area for yieding to his call, maintaining that this is the second phase of the health insurance scheme, sometime last year, I also enrolled over one hundreds indigents of the federal Constituency.
Dr Akpodiete asserted that, even though he hasn’t appointed by the Government yet, he won’t stop to impact his people genuinely because that’s my passion.” he added.
Dr Akpodiete earlier received an award of Health Insurance Ambassador from His Excellency, Rt. Hon (Elder) Sheriff Oborevwori, for being the first sponsor in Ughelli/Udu federal Constituency to register indigents in Delta state contributory health scheme.
Beneficiaries of the health insurance scheme praises Dr Akpodiete for his philanthropic and humanitarian services. They prayed God to give him better political position for him to do more for Deltans.
