The media practitioner cum politician who doubles as the Special Assistant (SA) to the Honourable Commissioner for Oil and Gas in Delta State, described the emergence of the British trained engineer cum business mogul as the Ovie of Udu Kingdom from Okporua ruling house as ‘Royalty’ in the right direction.
Oniyan commended the transparent process exhibited by every single individuals from the Okporua ruling house.
Stating that the process went smoothly from the unanimous endorsement by the 5 communities leaders, to a peaceful elections by the communities’ delegates, to the affirmation by the kingmakers from Okporua ruling house and the ratification by Udu kingmakers at the Residence of the Otota of the kingdom.
He noted that there wouldn’t be a better choice than Engr. Michael Orugbo whose emergence from Okporua ruling house to become the King, had brought peace and unity to the kingdom.
The Publisher further commended all Udu sons and daughters for rooting for the best among equal from Okporua ruling house and enjoined everyone to avail themselves for the support of His Royal Majesty, Engr Michael Ogheneovo Orugbo as he reigns over the affairs of Udu Kingdom.
