Oil & Gas Commissioner, Uviejitobor Mourns Passing Of Ovie Of Udu Kingdom


The immediate past President-General of Union of Udu Communities who is the Honourable Commissioner for Oil and Gas in Delta State, Hon. (Chief) Peter Okagbare Uviejitobor, has expressed heartfelt condolences to his people as he mourns the passing of Ovie of Udu Kingdom, HRM Barr. Emmanuel Bethel Otete Delekpe, Owhorhu I.
In a condolence message, Hon. Uviejitobor described the demise of the late Ovie as a great loss to Udu Kingdom, the people, the royal family and Delta State at large. Adding that His reign brought peace, unity and progress to the kingdom.
The Honourable Commissioner, Hon. (Chief) Peter Okagbare Uviejitobor who is the Ivwiri of Udu Kingdom prayed for strength, stability and unity of purpose as the kingdom embarked on 9 days mourning.
The two term House of Assembly member also prayed for the royal family, Udu council of chiefs, the people and Delta State to find strength to bear the irreplaceable loss.
Adding, “May the soul of the Royal Father finds favour in God sight”.
