Ekakpamre Community Gets New Exco As Abitor Emerges President

Ekakpamre Community, an oil rich Community of Ughievwen Kingdom in Ughelli South local government area of Delta State on Tuesday, 31st December, 2024 sworn-in new Executive that would pilot the affairs of the community for next two years.
While swearing-in the new executive, the Chairman of the 34 biannual conference of Ekakpamre Community, Mr. Shedrach Orhokpocha enjoined the executive to unite the community.

The Conference Chairman further charged the Executive to be transparent in governance and run all inclusive government that would attract purposeful development and guarantee peace and unity in the community.

Those sworn-in are; Comr. Jacob Abitor – President, Okoro Emmanuel – Assistant Secretary, Monday Egbine – Treasurer, Lucky Ogigba – Assistant Financial Secretary, David Kini – Auditor, Clack Tiadi – Adviser, and Mrs. Andrew Rechael – Woman Leader.
Speaking on behalf of the newly sworn-in Executive, Comr. Jacob Abitor, President-General of Ekakpamre Community stated, “I consider this a great honour and privilege to stand before you to express our sincere gratitude to you all over your unimaginable show of love before, during and after this auspicious great occasion of swearing-in ceremony of members of my Executive and I”.

The President, who hails from Ekenewharen quarters of the community thanked God Almighty for the successful swearing-in and assured members of the community that they would not disappoint the confidence reposed in them to serve the community for next two years.
The highpoint of the swearing-in ceremony was the handing over of the community documents to Comr. Jacob Abitor, Ekakpamre Community President by the 2024 Ekakpamre Community Conference Chairman, Mr. Shedrach Orhokpocha.
