Delta Commissioner, Uviejitobor Eulogies Sen. Okowa At 66

Delta State Commissioner for Oil and Gas, Hon (Chief) Peter Uviejitobor, has rejoiced with the immediate past Governor of the state, Senator (Dr) Ifeanyi Okowa on his 66th birthday anniversary.

Hon Uviejitobor in a good will message to Dr Okowa as he turns 66 today, 8th July 2025, described him as a visionary and dependable leader of great repute.

The Oil and Gas Commissioner recalled his political journey in the state, the role played by the celebrant in shaping it, and paid glowing tribute to Dr Okowa for his highly commendable support.

Uviejitobor, a two term member of the Delta State State Legislature, maintained that the legacies of Dr Okowa as a former member of the Senate of Federal Republic of Nigeria and as the immediate Governor of Delta State would remain evergreen in the future.

He commended the leadership style of the celebrant and his unwavering support for Governor Sheriff Oborevwori since he assumed office in the Dennis Osadebay House, Asaba, in May 2023.

Congratulating the Ika born politician on the natal anniversary, Hon Uviejitobor wished him grace in abundance in the years ahead.

The Oil and Gas Commissioner prayed to God to grant Dr Okowa the wherewithal and privileges to achieve a happier and more fulfilling life.

“Today, I celebrate a leader who gave his all to Delta State and Nigeria at large as he turns 66. Dr Okowa remains a beacon of hope, a mentor to many, and a statesman of high repute.
